  Since 1987 the University at Buffalo has been in partnership with industry. This partnership has produced many success stories. We are proud to say that the vehicle for such relationships is The Center for Industrial Effectiveness (TCIE). Our center has worked with over 700 businesses and industries, from healthcare organizations and providers, to medical product manufacturers and distributors. Our diversification of clients is equal to our diversification and highest level of expertise. Having over 100 facilitators/trainers, faculty, and support staff, we are able to meet our uncompromising goal of providing world-class solutions to our clients.  
   
  About Green Belt Training
  Employees will learn the fundamentals of Six Sigma systems and understand principles and concepts of quality management, and will learn how to apply the DMAIC 5-step problem solving process and 7 basic SPC tools. Additional highlights of the training will be data collection and display, basic sampling, variable control charts, cause and effect analysis, and FMEA.
 
  Green Belt Classes
  TCIE’s Green Belt Certification training is critical to an organization at the process level. The course is 72 hours of classroom training, interactive learning, using DMAIC methods for problem solving, and applying DMAIC to the attendee's company specific project.
